Total world aluminium output rose 3.6% on-month in October following production growth across all regions, the International Aluminum Institute said.
Primary aluminium production rose to 2.198Mt from 2.122Mt in September, the IAI said.
Output was 4.6% higher compared with October 2010, when production was 2.100Mt.
Daily output during October averaged 70,900t, up from 70,700t in September.
