Novelis to supply sheet for new BMW 5 Series Saloon

Novelis has been selected as the main supplier of aluminium sheet for the sixth generation BMW 5 Series saloon, which went on sale this spring.
The latest model features lightweight aluminium sheet in the doors, bonnet, front fenders and reinforcement parts.
BMW has also specified Novelis Fusion technology for the door structures, which is likely to be the biggest-selling automotive application to date for this patented multi-layer aluminium product.
