Extruders to benefit from online tools

The Aluminum Extruders Council has added a new tool to the services offered through its website www.aec.org.

The new device has been developed to facilitate discussion of product design expectations between aluminium extruders and their customers.

The Extrusion Design and Performance Reliance Guide is based on the performance reliance matrix created by the AEC Technical Services Committee.

AEC has published this interactive guide to help extruders communicate with their customers about the multitude of product performance characteristics that might be influenced by process variables associated with extrusion operations.
